A settembre scorso, in Griffith Park, uno dei parchi urbani più grandi del Nord America, in California, nel corso di un progetto sperimentale di Low Pulse Project, ho avuto il piacere di intervistare, ancora una volta, il fondatore del Blitz Rock e leader di Privet Earth: Ivan Smirnov.
Questi frammenti sono stati estratti per EM da una lunga intervista.
E’ stata una bella chiacchierata, tra il centro abitato e la natura selvaggia, anche se spesso interrotta da rombi di aerei,sirene dell’911 e truppe dell’U.S. Army in addestramento. In ogni caso siamo uciti dai carissimi scuri e puzzolenti studi di Hollywood (senza finestre ma con l’aria condizionata 24 ore al giorno) per respirare e farci ispirare dall’aria frizzante delle colline di Hollywood.
In questa occasione, in esclusiva per EM, Ivan si è esibito live, unplugged, alle 10 del mattino, in un contesto non del tutto favorevole. Vedrete un artista impeccabile e appassionato. Poeta, scrittore di novelle, cantautore, musicista Ivan è tutto ciò che vedrete in questi brevi frammenti.

Last September, in Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in North America, in California, during an experimental work of Low Pulse Project, I had the pleasure to interview, once again, the founder and of the Blitz Rock and leader of Privet Earth: Ivan Smirnov.

It has been a pleasant interview, shot between the town and the wilderness, even if has been often interrupted by rumble of planes, sirens dell’911 and troops of the US Army in training. Anyway we have been able to get out from the expansive, dark and smelly Hollywood studios (no windows but air conditioning 24 hours a day) in order to breathe and be inspired from the sparkling hills of Hollywood.
Right on this occasion, exclusively for EM, Ivan has performed live, unplugged, at 10 am, in a quite hard condition. You will see a flawless and passionate artist. Poet, novelist, songwriter, musician Ivan is all that you will see in these short fragments.
